Vintners Velo and the NC500 - The Video
The Vintners' Velo team set out from Inverness Castle, Scotland on Saturday 3 June 2023 with the aim of completing the North Coast 500 (NC500) in 6 days. Here is a short video of their adventure:

Royal Tank Regiment Cambrai Awards
This week the Company gave a warm Vintners’ welcome to our friends at the Royal Tank Regiment - a close association which has been ongoing for nearly 20 years. The personnel, many of whom who had returned from deployment overseas, gathered at Vintners’ Hall for the Regiment’s Cambrai Awards to recognise the hard work and endeavours of the recipients.
70 Years since first MW Exam
Today marks 70 years since the Institute of Masters of Wine held its first Master of Wine exam here at Vintners' Hall.
Swan Uppers on Coronation Day
For those eagle-eyed among you, our our very own Swan Marker Paul (Milky) Prentice and Swan Uppers Bob Prentice, John Dwan and Rob Coleman were chosen from the ranks of the Thames Watermen to walk alongside the Golden State Coach from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace on Coronation Day.

Congratulations to His Majesty King Charles and Her Majesty Queen Camilla on this momentous day. While we are blessed to have members of the Royal Family as Vintners, this is the first time we are honoured to have among our membership a Queen.
Visit to London Youth Rowing
Swan Warden Richard Wilson and Immediate Past Master Ann Hill had the pleasure to make a special visit to London Youth Rowing today to meet with Kieran Langridge who leads the excellent alternative provisions scheme that seeks to improve the life skills of young Londoners who have been excluded from mainstream schools by bringing them on the water.

Last night we were delighted to welcome young members of the UK’s vibrant wine trade to a drinks reception at Vintners’ Hall.
International Wine Trade Dinner 2023
Last night the Company was proud to host the Fifth International Wine Trade Dinner at Vintners’ Hall, with over 130 guests who along with Ambassadors from wine-producing regions, represented wine growers, makers, buyers and journalists from across the global – all thankfully undeterred by flight cancellations and train strikes.

Vintners’ Triumph on the Ski Slopes
Many congratulations to the Vintners' Ski team who have returned triumphant from this year's Inter-livery Ski Competition in Morzine, winning the Vintners' Cup for Best Livery Team, by 0.44 seconds.
Wine Trade Lunch in support of The Drinks Trust
Although unlucky for some, Friday 13th January kicked off the Company’s new year with the annual Wine Trade Lunch, bringing together senior members of the trade at this wonderful event to raise money for The Drinks Trust.
Children’s Christmas Present Appeal 2022
This month we welcomed over 30 Vintners' Elves to the Hall to join in this year's Christmas Present Wrapping Day. Yet again Members’ generosity has exceeded last year's donations, allowing us to purchase over 1,000 toys, books, and clothes to help children and their families at Christmas.

Once again, we received fantastic support from members of the Vintners’ Company for this year’s Salvation Army Children’s Christmas Appeal which, when member donations were combined with match funding from the Vintners’ Foundation, and a generous 20% discount from John Lewis, enabled us to purchase the equivalent of £19,000.00 worth of children’s presents.
