The Vintners’ Song

Come let us drink!

The Vintners' Song was written for the pageant given by Sir Samuel Dashwood in 1702 to entertain Queen Anne. It is sung by all assembled at Company dinners and follows the 'Toast to the Vintners' Company' proposed by the guest speaker. It ends with five cheers for the Master in memory of the Feast of the Five Kings.
