Vinters’ Velo 2024 Bordeaux Cycling Challenge

They’ve done it!

Our merry band of 16 cyclists who took on the 2024 Vintners' Velo Cycling Challenge all in aid of the Vintners' Foundation, have successfully completed this three-day event pedalling over 250 miles across the Bordeaux countryside.

The rain may have been an unwelcome friend, but this did not dampen spirits. All helped by a fantastic support team including the Master and Consort, the Immediate Past Master and Consort, Alexander and Caroline Nall, Angela, Sophie and Kim.

Thanks also go to our generous hosts including Château Lascombes, Château Marquis d’Alesme, Château du Tertre, Château Ormes de Pez, Château Cantemerle, Château Giscours, Château de Carles, Château Siran and Château Angludet - all helping to alleviate aches and pains and muster the energy to tackle those punctures!
