Common Hall 2024

Thank you to everyone who joined us for yesterday's lively Common Hall.

A special thanks go to our guest speakers:

Simon Gunning CEO of the Campaign Againts Living Miserably (CALM) - one of the Company's favoured charities - shared the innovative work of CALM to take a stand against suicide through standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living.

Our very own Liveryman Elliot Awin shared a very impassioned presentation on the highs and lows of his epic row across the Atlantic all in aid of The British Heart Foundation , and by this he showed this wasn't just the waves, but the physical, mental and emotional challenges of being alone at sea for 44 days and one hour.

A lesson from both presentations was there is always hope, and no matter how you feel it's best to avoid ruminating on the past and stop worrying about the future, but always remember to live in the present moment.
