Christmas Wrapping Day

Thank you to all Santa’s elves who joined us for the ever-popular Vintners’ Christmas Wrapping Day today.

Starting at 09:30 with a scheduled finish by 12:00, the wrappers had a momentous challenge ahead of them. Thankfully sustained by the odd mince pie, sausage roll and thirsts quenched by a bit of sparkle, the elves triumphed - wrapping over 1,000 presents purchased thanks to the generosity of members, with match funding from the Vintners’ Foundation as part of this year’s Children’s Christmas Appeal.

The presents were then skilfully stacked under the Christmas Tree at St James Garlickhythe in time for the Vintners’ Carol Service on 12 December - a sight to behold.

Congratulations go to Charlotte Haylett and Richard Wilson for winning the respective Female and Male Christmas Jumper Competition!

Next year’s Wrapping Day will take place on Friday 6 December 2024. We hope to see you there!
