Information for Presenters
Company lunches provide an opportunity to our wine trade members to select and present their own wines. We encourage presenters to select less well known wines or wines from emerging regions if it is felt they will show well.

The presenter is asked to choose a reception wine (sparkling or still, but sparkling is preferred) and a red and white to drink with the meal. We will provide the port. Wines can be from any region. The price range is up to £20 (excluding VAT) per bottle (or an average of £20 across your whole selection) and we ask the presenter to speak on each of the wines for a few minutes; the reception wine in the drawing room during the reception and then the white and red as everybody takes their places at lunch and before they start to eat. The menu, when available, will be provided to assist with wine selection. QUANTITIES: We usually have about 50-60 people and quantities in the past have been: Aperitif: 24 bottles; White: 24 Bottles; Red: 30 bottles. We generally review numbers a week or two beforehand. Presenters are NOT required to pay for lunch (normally £45.00) but any guests of presenters will be charged the standard guest ticket price of £55.00.
